Tying your tie is an art, and no one can convince us otherwise. Here we will give you a few tips on how to tie quickly, easily and practically your tie. This is a key moment in the clothing of every business man.
No matter what the color of your tie – whether it’s a black tie, white tie, striped tie, tie for wedding, red tie, blue tie, etc. There is always a wonderful way to tie it all the same. We will help you tie your tie in a fashion that is called the Four in Hand Knot. It is used most successfully for neck ties. After all, men’s tie should look brilliant on the chest of the wearer, right?
So take a mirror, grab the tie and prepare for learning. Let us start with the wide end (“W”) of your necktie on the right, extending about 12 inches below the narrow end (“N”) on the left. Then cross the wide end over end narrow. Continue by turning the wide end back underneath the narrow end and bring the wide end back over in front of the narrow end again.
Then pull the wide end up and through the loop around your neck. Hold the front of the knot loosely with your index finger and bring the wide end down through the front loop. Finally, remove your finger and tighten the knot carefully to the collar by holding the narrow end and sliding the knot up.
And there you go – a fine men’s necktie tie – silk or not, thin or thick, it will most likely look simply superb in every occasion!
